The Polo Principle
Together with DDB Copenhagen and Volkswagen, Society 46 produced a campaign that put the power of a 3D printer in the hands of the people. Volkswagen has built the Polo on one principle – to make the best technology available for all and not just the elite. A panel of judges will select the 40 most creative looking prototype designs to be 3D-printed and exhibited in Copenhagen in May 2012. After the exhibition, the physical prototypes will be handed over to their respective creators. Finally, out of the 40 best designs, one winner will get his/her design made into an actual Polo and get to use it for two months during the summer.
Sveriges Radio Plus
Along with Forsman & Bodenfors, we have developed www.sverigesradio.se/plus. This is a brand new interactive radio service that is available for a limited time on the web, your mobile phone and tablets. A site where you as a user listen to selected programs of the Swedish Radio in real time – while simultaneously annotate and add photos or videos directly in the programs.
Radio 3.0 in real-time & HTML 5.
The Sound Of Football – Pepsi Refresh
We’re very pleased to announce the release of our Pepsi Refresh – Sound of Football project. In collaboration with Åkestam.Holst and the Pepsi Refresh project, we accepted the challenge to invent a new way to play football for visually impaired people. We developed a new platform with a tracking system and a 3D sound landscape. Take a look!
Co:Create
Society 46 was invited to be a part of the Higher Pitch exhibition in London.
We decided to do something with mobile phones, but staying away from apps as we wanted as many users as possible to interact. Our artwork, CoCreate is a collaborative drawing space, an installation where mobile phones are connected to the same canvas through our real-time socket server. With the acceleration sensors in our smart phones physical movements are transferred into digital marks.

Nike – ZlatanZuperfly.com
Society 46 was approached by Naked Stockholm to create a new interactive video game. We placed a 360 degree camera on Zlatan’s head, and took the users on a journey from Zlatan’s point of view. The production was made in no time but reached impressing numbers on social media.
YouLive – Multi user live concert system
Prime came to Society 46 with high ambitions: Can you create a unique new way to experience music live online?
Our proposal was the user’s actually become a person in the audience and to interact with the artist in real time.
The users can applause, and as they do this, everyone else will see a pair of actual hands rise in the audience and clap. The artist sees this on a huge plasma monitor in front of the stage and can therefore instantly comment on the fans interactivity.
Society 46 used a custom built live server, that we are alone in the world with, to engage thousands of fans in real time, letting them communicate in new ways with each other and the artists.
This technology is perfect for any live event, on any platform. Fashion, sports, music, entertainment, TV shows etc. Don’t hesitate to contact Society 46 for a more in-depth screening of this multi award-winning technology.
To the left is the actual app that the user sees. To the right we placed the info that the artist sees.
Society 46 serves a slice of the internet. For Naked Communication.
We made this site for Naked Stockholm. Three more Naked sites will be up shortly for Naked Germany, Naked Denmark and Naked Norway.
All sites are based on “the slice of internet” idea. Society 46′s Martin Wijk constructed the framework and put it all together with a custom built backend admin.

Make a Scrapbook out of your favourite TV memory
Ericsson usually delivers broadcast systems for TV companies but with this campaign they wanted to increase their dialog with the end TV consumer. My Tv Moments was created to start that communication. The audience searches for their favorite TV memories via YouTube, when they find a clip we created a system that sorts through the clips information using a custom algorithm. We turn to the internet’s popular search and information providers (such as Google and Wikipedia) looking through everything from images, blogs, books, magazines. We then further sort this collected information, creating a scrapbook about the TV memory which is sharable with friends.

The Wake Up Call – Straight Out Your Boring Friend!
Is your friend a homebody, a clingy parent, a workaholic or just plain boring? In this interactive campaign you can straighten your dull friend out with the help of the smug Alex Schulman. By filling in the name of your friend and why they are a bore, a story is built and executed through a movie that your friend receives in an email. Or have Alex Schulman call them live on the site, to really let them know how boring they’ve become!
Alex Schulman is a Swedish journalist and a comedian, who’s famous for his sarcastic and clever humor. The site is a interactive campaign for Nöjesbladet, which is a sub-section of the newspaper Aftonbladet. The site uses live synthetic text-to-speech technology from Acapela and live-stream-servers. Naked came up with this great idea and Society 46 was in charge of all aspects of the production.
